A group of friends started this project in 1996
TerraTrike sells simple, no-frill trikes that are rather affordable but often lack things like suspension or other integrated luxuries. TerraTrike has the following line of tadpole trikes:
Leisure: Simple, tadpole trikes without motor or suspension.
Electric: Motor kits to pimp up a trike but also electric trikes.
Folding: a simple folding trike.
Adventure Touring: All Terrain Trikes that are very popular in the US.
Performance: speed is the most important here.
Tandem: Tandem trikes.
